Meet Innovation
Since my graduation from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada in 2004, I have ardently pursued my childhood ambition of becoming a landscape architect. Over the years, I've taken on various roles across North America and the Caribbean, gaining a wealth of diverse and invaluable experiences.
My journey began in rural Ontario, where I engaged in the collection and planting of native wildflower seeds, thus contributing to the preservation of plant biodiversity. Subsequently, I relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida, where I was involved in the formulation of subdivision master plans for expansive developments. Returning to Toronto, I joined Scott Torrance Landscape Architect (now part of FORREC), where I had the opportunity to pour my passion for sustainable design into meaningful projects.
In 2010, my career path brought me back to Barbados, where I joined Talma Mill Studios. This experience allowed me to deepen my understanding of the Caribbean environment, focusing on tropical plants and local culture. By 2016, I had transitioned to Design Landscape Architects, where I spearheaded numerous projects, guiding them from initial concept design through to project administration and ultimate completion.
At the beginning of 2023, I decided to start my own journey as an independent landscape architect, focusing on climate resilience and sustainable design. I am dedicated to creating landscapes that are not only beautiful but also environmentally responsible.
